MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The recipient must be:

Enrolled as a full-time student with a minimum of 12 credit hours -must complete the semester with a 2.0 grade point average.

A high school graduate of G.E.D equivalent.

Not a recipient of any other federal or state grants of scholarships and demonstrate a financial need.

A documented Veteran, or directly related to a Veteran.

Eligibility shall be one of the following:
-
U.S. Veteran or ex-prisoner of war.
-
Current POW/MIA spouse or child.
-
Veteran Widow(er) who has not remarried.
-
Veteran's Child or Spouse.
-
VietNow Associate.
-
A Veteran's Sibling, or any other blood relative.

Required Documentation:
DD Form 214
Honorable Discharge Certificate
Selection will be made by the Freeport Chapter VietNow Scholarship Committe.
This scholarship consists of a maximum of $600.00 each semester for tuition, fee, books, and supplies.
